If you are looking for an opportunity to invest in the marijuana and cannabis space, you may want to take a glance at a Las Vegas, Nevada based company called Growblox Sciences. Not only is the company priced cheaply at just over a quarter, it jumped almost 30% on Monday, and will be something to keep an eye on this week. I’m going on record saying I invested in this company because of the upside and am hoping for the momentum to continue.
Will the momentum continue, or will it fizzle out?
Who is Growblox Sciences?
According to their website, their “science and research powers discovery.” They also “marry cutting edge cannabis cultivation and biopharmaceutical research and development.”
Traded as “GBLX,” (read their profile on Yahoo! Finance), the stock has traded for several years, briefly getting to $13 before treading back down and becoming a penny stock. While it’s always a risk to invest in any stock, penny stocks are by far the largest gambles, but with the U.S. Farm Bill passing, in addition to many States having legalized marijuana, the industry certainly has a lot less risk than it once did.

What I could dig up about Growblox Sciences is that they have a very strong management team. Additionally, I was able to pull these key components from their website:
- They own patent-pending formulations of chemicals extracted from cannabis plants.
- Their research partners include Louisiana State University and Michigan State University.
- Their facility looks impressive. (Pic below.)
When a stock gains 29.90%, it’s time to take notice. Here’s to hoping GBLX can keep running and we can find out more about them and their business in the mean time.
If anyone at GrowBlox Sciences reads this article and would like to give us more information on the company, the pipeline, and vision, we’d love to hear about it.
