One of the most important tools you can have if you burn flower is a weed grinder. As someone who is an old school marijuana advocate, I still use one of these devices quite often. When you get your hands on the best weed grinder, you can make your marijuana into very fine particles prior to using it. Forget picking it apart yourself, grinders do all the work so much more efficiently.
These devices used to be seen as a luxury, but they are becoming more mainstream, especially with marijuana becoming legal for recreational use in more and more States each year.
There are many options out there, so hopefully this weed grinder buying guide will help steer you in the right direction.
How a Weed Grinder Will Benefit You
Let’s look at the obvious facts here of owning such an affordable device that you really shouldn’t even contemplate buying. It’s a no brainer as far as I’m concerned.
- Improves the Quality of Your Marijuana.
You’ll get the benefits of better flavors and aromas when you use a grinder. Properties that you couldn’t simply get with your fingers.
- More Potent Weed.
Grinding your weed down makes it stronger, no matter how you choose to consume the marijuana.
- More Versatile Weed.
When weed is grinded down, you have so many more uses for it. Use your imagination.
- Time Saver.
Forget the old school manual picking apart stuff! You’ll save so much time by grinding down your weed.
Different Weed Grinder Styles
The top weed grinders are made in many fashions, from manual, to electric, and ranging from a two piece to a four piece component system. The systems get more complex as you add more components, as you may have expected.
The two piece grinder has one compartment and is a very common one to start off with. The weed sits on one compartment where it’ll not only be ground, but also retrieved after being ground.
Three piece grinders have another compartment where the weed is inserted. Once it’s ground, the weed makes it’s way to another compartment where you retrieve it.
A four piece grinder, as you may have guessed, has three compartments. What makes this different is that you can use this with kief and even pollen, so if you are advanced, this is the way you want to go.
Weed Grinder Types
The outside make-up of these devices can be very different, but there are three main types that we’ll highlight in today’s weed grinder reviews. While there to exist other types, we’ll hone in on the three most common forms.
Wood: typically the most expensive.
Metal: you’ll find aluminum and titanium options.
Acrylic: lacks durability but is very cheap to buy. Not recommended.
For full disclosure, I use a wooden weed grinder.
