Any “comprehensive list of 4/20 events” is doomed to failure, because it’s never going to account for you and your bud buddies getting together over pizza and Taco Bell. But we thought we’d list a random scattering of stuff that came across the editorial desk (actually a laptop with shake all over the keyboard).
- IllegallyAlive.org is doing some great “street theater” by driving a huge monster truck with a trailer full of body bagsto demonstrate how cannabis is a non-lethal alternative to the elevation of legally prescribed opioid overdoses in the U.S.
- The Grove Dispensary is opening in Las Vegas with all kinds of special deals today (4647 Swenson Street, Las Vegas, NV 89119)
- SOURCEvapes are announcing their new portable eNail, with a 50% off sale today only.
- And never forget the impromptu parties in places like
Denver, Seattle, and always San Francisco.
Finally, this couldn’t have come on a better day: remember a few weeks ago, an organization called DCMJ had a big rally with a big joint in Washington, DC? Now they’ve been invited to the White House to talk about rescheduling (and eventually descheduling) marijuana! Who says activism doesn’t pay off?
Adam Eidinger, co-founder of DCMJ, said “We have long been hopeful that this President would be the one who would rectify this unnecessary injustice. Now, as his presidency approaches its twilight, we’re again optimistic that President Obama will take action.”
