Facebook has been shutting down dispensary pages, according to reports.

The continued practice has affected the pages of 20 collectives in medical or recreational-legal states such as Arizona, Colorado, Maine, Nevada, New Jersey and Washington, according to Marijuana Business Daily.

The news comes after NJ.com reported that New Jersey’s Breakwater Wellness and Treatment Center in Cranbury, Compassionate Sciences Alternative Treatment Center in Bellmawr, and Garden State Dispensary in Woodbridge were also kicked off Facebook.

Facebook has been mum about the ejections.

But as we reported in the past, the social networking site hasn’t exactly been marijuana friendly.

“It’s unclear if this is the start of a widespread crackdown or a smaller-scale, more targeted move,” Marijuana Business Daily said in a statement to other outlets. “It’s also not clear if Facebook is targeting only retailers or other types of marijuana-related businesses as well.”
