In the anticipation that voters in California will indeed decide to legalize weed in 2016, San Francisco is in the process of mustering together a task force in order to advance regulations for the would-be weed industry.
It has been reported that said task force will tackle everything from where ganjapreneurs can set up shop to the potency of retail pot.
Those lucky enough to grab one of the 14 available seats for the recently established Cannabis State Legalization Task Force’s board will be apart of the body that advises the state’s Board of Supervisors regarding regulating the recreational weed industry.
All the board’s seats are slated to be filled by next week, and the task force will hold its first meeting in January.
You know what they say, “Without rules there is chaos.”
We can only hope the task force writes them correctly the first time around, right?
