Croatia joins the small but growing list of countries that have legalized the consumption of marijuana for therapeutic dedications.

The government in Croatia has ruled that marijuana and its derived products will be permitted to be prescribed via a licensed physician for a compact list of ailments, including AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy.

Folks afflicted with one or more of said maladies will be restricted to a 30-day prescription that includes a limit of 7.5 grams of medicine. So, under the newly passed regulation,  just a little over a quarter of an ounce of bud is expected to last for a month.?.

I don’t know if that will help anyone past the first seven days or not, but I guess it’s still a positive advancement, especially considering the current outmoded mindset of the United States government.

It was reported that Croatian Health Minister Sinisa Varga said marijuana would be available for therapeutic consumption starting within the next month or so.

Soldier on, Croatia, and thanks for making the U.S. government look even more antediluvian than they already do!
