The Cannabis World Congress & Business Expo is coming to the Los Angeles Convention Center today through Friday.

Organizers say it will be a one-stop networking shop for dispensary owners and others in the medical marijuana industry.

According to the International Cannabis Association, which is organizing the second-annual event, “Exhibitors and sponsors bring cutting-edge solutions to owners and managers of businesses in this fast-growing industry, and a wealth of opportunity and knowledge to those looking to enter the market with potential partners and investors.”

Melissa Etheridge (Sept. 17, 2:00 pm), Men’s Warehouse founder George Zimmer (Sept. 18, 11:30 am), and Drug Policy Alliance executive director Ethan Nadelmann (keynote Sept. 17, 1:00 pm) are some of the main attractions.

“Mr. Nadelmann’s keynote at CWCBExpo in NY was an inspiring kick-off for our event that brings all aspects of the legalized and medical marijuana industry together for three days of education, networking and business-building,” said Dan Humiston, president of the International Cannabis Association. “We look forward to sharing his keen insight and ethical policy advocacy with CWCBExpo LA attendees this September.”

Nadelmann says:

California was the first state to legalize medical marijuana, almost twenty years ago, and its marijuana industry is certainly the biggest, most diverse and dynamic in the country. The state is now poised to become a true global leader in responsible cannabis regulation, provided a smart and winnable ballot initiative prevails on Election Day 2016.

Information about how to attend the event can be found here.
