One of the main focal points in the film, Kyle Turley, shares his experience with marijuana use for medicinal dedications in order to ease symptoms associated with neurological damage he sustained via head injuries throughout his all-pro NFL career that came to an end back in 2007. Dr. Lester Grinspoon, Associate Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and famed marijuana activist, also makes an appearance in the film in order to help explain the legitimate medical use of marijuana among professional athletes.
