New Mayor Of San Diego Speaks At Americans For Safe Access Meeting Joe January 9, 2013 Activism, Exclusive Web Content, Medical Marijuana News, Politics, The War On Drugs The new Mayor of San Diego, former Congressman Bob Filner, recently spoke at a meeting of the medical marijuana advocacy group Americans for Safe Access. It was the first time a sitting mayor of San Diego has done so. Filner was vocal during the campaign about the need for safe access for patients in San Diego, and he urged advocates to help him make that a reality in a city whose medical marijuana industry has been decimated. With the help of more elected officials like Bob Filner, full and safe access for medical marijuana will become a reality for more and more people every year. – Joe Klare – make sure you check out our brand new Forums and our “Stop The Ban in L.A.” Facebook page! 2 Responses Kelly January 10, 2013 Thanks for sticking up for patients like me. Wish every town in California had a mayor like that. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
