Medical Marijuana In Oklahoma? Joe January 23, 2013 Activism, Exclusive Web Content, Medical Marijuana News, Politics, The War On Drugs Is medical marijuana in Oklahoma a long shot? Indeed it is, but every state has to start somewhere, and two bills are being introduced in the Oklahoma Legislature that would legalize medical marijuana and reduce penalties for marijuana possession overall. The most interesting part of the video below is Sheriff Scott Walton of Rodgers County, Oklahoma, who calls medical marijuana a “joke” and a slap in the face of the medical profession. Being ignorant of facts is one thing, but opening your mouth in a news interview and displaying your ignorance for all to see is quite another. Millions benefit every day from medical cannabis, but if Sheriff Scott Walton says it’s a “joke,” I guess we are supposed to just give up and move on. If a Sheriff says sick people in Oklahoma don’t need medical marijuana, then he must know better than decades of research, right? - Joe Klare - make sure you check out our new Forums and our “Stop The Ban in L.A.” Facebook page Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
