Los Angeles City Council To Meet Tuesday Over Dispensary Ban The 420 Times Staff October 1, 2012 Activism, Exclusive Web Content, Medical Marijuana News, Politics, The War On Drugs The Los Angeles City Council is set to meet tomorrow at 10:00 am local time in City Hall Room 340 to discuss the dispensary ban they recently passed and whether or not they will put a repeal before the voters. Last month advocates got enough signatures to get a repeal of the ban on the citywide ballot. On Thursday, October 4th, there will be a peaceful protest of recent federal attacks on dispensaries in L.A. The protest will take place in front of the Edward Roybal Federal Building (downtown), located at 255 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Make sure you bring signs and noisemakers, wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water. If you care about medical marijuana in Los Angeles and can make your voice heard at either event, or both, the time is upon you.
