City Councilman Jose Huizar, the main proponent of the recent citywide dispensary ban.If you have a receipt from a business in Eagle Rock then you can vote as an “at-large-stakeholder” in the Eagle Rock Neighborhood City Council Election this Saturday, October 13th from 10am – 4pm, being held at the Eagle Rock City Hall at 2035 Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock, CA 90041.The vote is a chance to oust ER Neighborhood Council member Michael Larsen who, with Jose Huizar, almost single-handedly started the backlash against medical marijuana in Los Angeles. ERNC was the Council to support the ban in L.A. and push Huizar to pass it through City Council. Larsen is also responsible for repeatedly contacting the Federal Government to get them to send letters and raid collectives in L.A.
