Readers of The 420 Times know that officials in Long Beach, California do some shady things, and judging by the video below, the shadiness continues. From the description of the video:

Warrantless police raid of Long Beach, California (Los Angeles) Medical Marijuana Collective. Authorized by Robert (Bob) Shannon, this raid demonstrates the discrimination by the City of Long Beach and the Long Beach City Council against medical cannabis patients with cancer, AIDS, and serious disability. The Long Beach City Council, including councilwoman Gerrie Schipske, herself publically gay, attacks patients with cancer, AIDS and in wheelchairs. When she needed the help of the public and community, they were there for Ms. Schipske. Now, she votes for police action against medical cannabis patients — she votes to have Bob Shannon unleash police without warrant to arrest patients. Nobody is arrested under state law — because the medical marijuana collective operates under state law — but he has them arrested under illegal ordinance 5.87. In October, 2011, the ordinance Shannon and his underlings, Erik Sund and Kendra Carney, were arresting people under was DETERMINED TO BE INVALID! Now, all of the charges have been dismissed — except against those people Shannon wants to get.

People of Long Beach, it seems some political house-cleaning is in order.
