From time to time we check in with the hosts of The Stoner Jesus Show and see what shenanigans they are up to, but this time it was us being contacted, in the form of 3:00 am phone calls from a clearly inebriated St. Peter demanding we post the video for his new parody song, “Ganja Style.”

“Peter thinks this is his ticket to fortune and fame,” Stoner Jesus told us the next day. “He also thinks he has an angelic singing voice. His judgement is, to say the least, suspect. I’ve found it’s best to just humor him when possible. And the song is funny, and the fact that St. Peter has a voice reminiscent of being dragged naked across a parking lot of broken glass just makes the whole thing funnier, in my opinion.”

The song is a parody of the recently viral “Gangnam Style,” a song by Korean “rapper” Psy.

“Is Peter trying to latch onto the fame of another to further himself? Of course,” SJ told us. “That’s what Peter does. As far as the list of despicable things he has done, this is actually pretty far down the list in terms of despicable-ness.”
