Colorado’s Amendment 64 Still Leading In New Poll

According to a new poll out of Colorado on Amendment 64 – a ballot measure to legalize and regulate marijuana in a manner similar to alcohol – the measure is still leading in the polls as the election season heats up and attacks come from every angle.

420times 000006813391XSmall 150x150 Colorados Amendment 64 Still Leading In New PollA new Public Policy Polling survey of 1,001 likely voters in CO shows 47% approve of Amendment 64, with 38% opposed. Fifteen percent described themselves as undecided.

These numbers are similar to a poll taken last month on marijuana legalization, which 49% approved of with 43% opposed.

It will be a tough battle over the next two months, but Amendment 64 has cash behind it and the momentum behind legalization in general. It looks like the best chance yet to enact a large marijuana law reform measure in a state.

But that depends on how effective advocates in Colorado are in getting the word out and getting the vote out.

Wow, Joe! 47% in Colorado and 57% in Washington….and Washington has a heinous per se DUID law attached. So what’s the difference? The same Public Policy polling gives the I-502 initiative only 50% approval rating….which is very close to what they gave Colorado….within the margin of error. How could two polls be 10 full percentage points apart?

The difference is the bogus Survey USA polling…who specializes in delivering the “right” numbers if you pay for the polling. The Republicans have similar polling organizations, with the same bullshit numbers. You somehow failed to point that out.

If the Survey USA poll showing Obama ahead by 17 points is correct, please find out why all the other polls have this nearly even race.

Please show us why we shouldn’t think you’re just a shill for whoever is paying you….like Cannabis Culture Magazine.

Don’t get your hopes up Bob….you’re being lied to. Just because this is a pot blog, it doesn’t mean that they won’t lie to manipulate your opinion. No one want to go into the last seven weeks before an election with low numbers. It discourages their base.

The numbers are what they are. Lying won’t make them better.

This did NOT legalise cannabis. It decriminalised it to a small degree. If it were legalised then you could grow as much as you want, buy as much as you want, carry around as much as you want, just like you can with tobacco or alcohol.

I don’t need permission or a licence to grow/make, buy or carry with me as much tobacco or beer as I want.
