The sequel to the most-watched and acclaimed cannabis documentary of all time has met its Kickstarter funding goal, setting the wheels in motion for another marijuana pop culture revolution. “The Culture High” is the follow-up to the massively popular “The Union,” and as of four days ago they had raised enough money to produce and release the film, which already has distribution deals in multiple countries and is sure to approach the popularity of “The Union,” if not surpass it.

Needing $190,000 to get the film made, filmmaker Adam Scorgie and his crew raised over $240,000 on Kickstarter from almost 3,500 backers. Which goes to show that there is money behind the marijuana law reform movement; although we cannot yet match the billions that pharmaceutical and alcohol companies can throw against cannabis, you don’t need as much money when you have truth on your side.

When “The Culture High” comes out you can be sure The 420 Times will have all the information on how and where it can be seen.
