We’ve been telling you about the “Caravan for Peace” and its goal of raising awareness about the awful toll the War on Drugs is taking on the people of Mexico.

Several organizations have joined the Carvan, including The Drug Policy Alliance, NORML and Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.

The violence and death now taking place in Mexico is staggering, mostly attributable to the government’s war with the drug cartels. The Mexican government has pushed prohibition to its logical conclusion and the resulting slaughter is incredible.
