Marijuana Legalization Campaign In Colorado Now Has A Theme Song

Proponents of Colorado’s Amendment 64, a ballot measure that would legalize marijuana in the state and regulate it in a manner similar to alcohol, now have their own theme song.

Short, catchy and to the point. Sadly, many people who vote base their decision on 30 second clips like this one. It just goes to show that legalization supporters in Colorado have a lot of the political angles covered.

Marijuana reformers everywhere, please listen to some common sense.

You won’t win with stupid songs or “safe, polite” advertisements. The War on Marijuana has more than just failed, it’s become a global human rights fiasco. How about some urgency here? You think the prohibitionists are going to be polite??!

Prohibitionists are bad people, and it’s about time we start using that angle. Why should prison profiteers be able to dictate morality? If prison guards and cops cared about the children, they would not mind being transitioned to a career that prevents marijuana usage without having to use guns and lies.

C’mon people, you are going to have to get ugly to win this.

I am a medical marijuana user in California, and I want to see at least one state legalize marijuana. Learn from California’s failure! Attack the prohibitionists!!! They are the morally bankrupt ones!!! It’s time to show the public that the marijuana reform movement has some cajones! Hatred of politicians is rising to a fever pitch. Will you please take advantage of this?

Sorry for the mild rudeness of my post, but I don’t like to sugar-coat the blatantly obvious.
