We’ve talked a lot about the Drug Enforcement Administration and the fact that they really answer to no one and all they care about is their huge budget and protecting it. Obviously, their autonomy leads to a certain amount of corruption; after all, if you answer to know one and have the legal right to use a gun, you can pretty much do whatever you want.

But just how far does the corruption go? Tommy Chong was recently on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and he thinks it’s agency-wide, to the point where the non-corrupt are sent elsewhere.

It may seem like hyperbole on Tommy’s part to some, but how far off the mark could he really be? Where does all that money go?
