The folks at NORML and the band Slightly Stoopid have teamed up to promote two state marijuana legalization initiatives this fall, I-502 in Washington state and Amendment 64 in Colorado.

2012 could end up being a huge year in marijuana law reform, but it’s up to supporters to use every means at their disposal to raise awareness. Music and marijuana have always gone hand-in-hand, and musicians and other artists have a long history of standing up for cannabis.

Two states legalizing marijuana would set a huge precedent for the next two years as advocates in several other states gear up for campaigns in 2014.
