Morgan Freeman Calls Marijuana Prohibition “Stupidest Law Possible”

Oscar-winning actor and longtime advocate of marijuana legalization Morgan Freeman recently did an interview in which he discussed his feeling on marijuana prohibition.

“Marijuana,” Freeman said, “Heavens, oh yeah. It’s just the stupidest law possible, given history. You don’t stop people from doing what they want to do, so forget about making it unlawful. You’re just making criminals out of people who aren’t engaged in criminal activity. And we’re spending zillions of dollars trying to fight a war we can’t win! We could make zillions, just legalize it and tax it like we do liquor. It’s stupid.”

They say marijuana is dangerous and they are going to protect us from ourselves.

More people speak out everyday about the incredible waste and destruction caused by our marijuana laws. There is a better way. More politicians just have to see the light.

“More politicians just have to see the light.”

More politicians will see the light when the companies that wish hemp to not come out of the closet quit PAYING Representatives to not see the light.

The issue of MJ(prohibition) started with eliminating Hemp(Fiber use), and nothing has changed with Duponts, or other potential possibleby affected companies, wishes to eliminate competition via control of regulation via using those same Representatives.

Just like when Prohibition started(MJ), the MJ(smokers) concern is just a distraction from the real issue… a condition(distration) which is allways and utmost in the toolbag for misdirecting interpretation of motivations of those whom control regulation.

As long as the public is steered into believing the whole MJ?Hemp discussion is based on a moral or medicaly proven concern, the public will not advance the realization that the issue is a money concern, purely, from immoral corporations that control regulation.

Not pointing fingers or saying mega corps are bad for being immoral, but without any conviction other than money(earning), behavior of these mega corps would be viewed as sociopathic… on an individual basis.

Money is control, money has no morality, only a mandate to make more money… this our Representatives understand… to the extreme!
