Medical Marijuana Forum In Los Angeles Saturday

Medical marijuana patients and advocates in Los Angeles, California continue to fight a proposed ban on dispensaries in the city. A recent court ruling will make it more difficult for the city to enact a full ban, but it’s still important that those who live in the city let the City Council know how they feel.
Americans for Safe Access and the Greater Los Angeles Collective Alliance (GLACA) are hosting a forum this Saturday in L.A. to discuss the possible ban and more.
Download this invitation to a special forum on medical cannabis this Saturday, July 7, and pass it out to friends and loved ones.
ASA members and friends have generated more than 3,900 letters to the Los Angeles City Council in the last week alone! We will be hand delivering each of these letters to City Council offices before they can vote to ban cooperatives and collectives as soon as July 24. Take a minute right now to send your letter to the City Council Members. ASA’s Online Action Center makes it easy.
Join us for the community forum hosted by ASA and our friends at the Greater Los Angeles Collective Alliance (GLACA) to discuss stopping the ban and what comes next – a new ordinance, voter referendum, etc. The free forum will be on Saturday, July 7, between 1:00 and 3:00 PM in the Community Room (#152) at the West Hollywood Gateway Mall located at 7100 Santa Monica Blvd. (at La Brea Ave.) in West Hollywood, CA, 90046. There is an inexpensive parking garage at the mall. Enter through Beverages & More from the garage, or use the double glass doors between Jersey Mike’s and Rockin’ Sushi on Santa Monica Blvd.
Don’t let the City Council make any decisions without knowing exactly how you feel. Tens of thousands of patients are counting on it.
