Anti-Medical Marijuana Congressman Confronted About His Position

During a recent July 4th parade in Virginia, members of the advocacy group Students for a Sensible Drug Policy were passing out leaflets about medical cannabis and they got a chance to confront one of medical marijuana’s staunchest opponents in the U.S. Congress, Frank Wolf (R-VA).

It’s rare that activists get a chance to speak directly to those in power, and even though no one’s mind was going to be changed, the video does produce an interesting sound clip from the Congressman when he says, “I am against medical marijuana.” That pretty much sums up his belief system, especially about health care. If you can’t buy it at the pharmacy and be subjected to numerous side effects, you don’t need it.
