Medical Marijuana Town Hall Meeting In Santa Ana, CA Friday

This Friday afternoon people in the Santa Ana, California area will have the opportunity to attend a town hall meeting about medical marijuana. It was organized by the folks at OCNORML, who sent out a press release on the event:
Santa Ana, California, June 27 2012- Residents will have a chance to educate themselves about medical marijuana this Friday, June 29th at a Town Hall Meeting being held at a local Senior Citizens Center in Santa Ana. Next week a group of local patients and advocates plan to introduce a voter initiative to the City to allow for the legal operation of a certain amount of medical marijuana collectives in particular areas of town.
The Medical Marijuana Town Hall Meeting is free and open to the public. The event will be held at the Senior Citizens Center Southwest at 2201 W. McFadden Ave. Santa Ana, CA 92704 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Some of the scheduled panelists include Retired Police Lieutenant Diane Goldstein, Cannabis Expert and Author Ed Rosenthal, Clinical Marijuana Expert Dr. David Bearman, Veterans Advocate Michael Krawitz and Patient Advocate Charles Monson. The event is being sponsored by the Committee to Support Medical Marijuana Ballot Initiative and Orange County NORML.
The purpose of the town hall meeting is to provide a opportunity for residents to be educated by experts and professionals on the benefits of medical marijuana and the benefits of a controlled system for qualified patients to access their medicine. The panelists will make short presentations, respond to panel topics and answer questions from the audience.
