The Marijuana Policy Project’s Push For 28 MMJ States By 2014

The Marijuana Policy Project is pushing an ambitious plan of having medical marijuana legalization in 28 states by the end of 2014, and yesterday they sent out an email alert and a new video to promote the plan.

Our “28 by 2014” strategy includes a signature drive in Arkansas that’s already under way, as well as a second signature drive in North Dakota that will begin in less than a week.  More than 1,000,000 voters in these two states will be voting on these ballot initiatives this November 6.

We’re also working with patients in New Hampshire to secure enough votes in the legislature to override Gov. John Lynch’s (D) imminent veto of our medical marijuana bill; we’re assisting with the passage of a ballot initiative in Massachusetts; and we’re taking the lead with lobbying the Illinois Legislature.

A great feat if it can be pulled off. Spread the word and support the cause.
