Last month we ran a poll for our readers because we wanted to know who they thought deserved the most blame for the current medical marijuana crackdown.

Half of the poll’s respondents said President Obama is to blame, by far the number 1 answer. Big Pharma came in second for most blame with 17% and U.S. Attorney Eric Holder was blamed the most by 15% of respondents to the poll.

Of course Eric Holder’s boss is President Obama, but it’s unlikely Obama would have the stance he does without campaign money from Big Pharma, so they are all intertwined. But the person with the most power in this situation is President Obama, so it’s not surprising that 50% of respondents blame him the most.

Time will tell how many votes his medical marijuana policy will cost him this November.
