The campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol in Colorado has released its first television ad in support of the ballot measure that CO voters will decide on this fall.

It’s certainly not everyday that you see a commercial for marijuana on TV – or anywhere for that matter. And it’s good to see marijuana awareness reaching a wider audience, at least in Colorado.

Not that the commercial is very “in-your-face.” It just urges people to start a conversation about marijuana. Which is good, since the more people talk about cannabis, the more the truth will come out in the open. Marijuana legalization advocates have many years of propaganda to overcome, and the journey must start with an open dialogue.
