Californians to Regulate Medical Marijuana held a “Unity Conference” this past weekend and several lawmakers addressed the gathering, including Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Huntington Beach), Rep. Sam Farr (D-Monterey), Assemblyman Tom Ammiano (D-SF), and State Senator Mark Leno (D-SF).

There is a good group of legislators in California fighting for medical marijuana and for patients. Hopefully they each have long and successful careers and maybe someday they will be influential in national politics as well.
