Oaksterdam University Raided By Federal Authorities (Updated With Video)

The decimation of California’s medical marijuana industry by the federal government continues as the most visible symbol of marijuana in California – and perhaps the country – Oaksterdam University (and other parts of Oaksterdam), were raided by federal agents this morning.
Officials from the DEA, the IRS and the U.S. Marshals service took over the university around 8 a.m local time. Officials who spoke to NBC Bay Area would only say the raid is part of an ongoing investigation.
But we all know exactly what this is. California’s medical marijuana industry has been targeted by the big pharmaceutical companies as their number one competition and has directed their paid minions – including President Barack Obama – to wipe it out.
And in the end, not much can be done about it. The feds have the guns and the agents. All Oaksterdam has is state law, which the feds can trump anytime with their guns and agents and Controlled Substances Act.
Oaksterdam University is one of the underpinnings of the entire medical marijuana industry, and for now it is no more.
