It doesn’t surprise anyone, but supporters of the Oregon Cannabis Tax Act of 2012 are hoping that an endorsement by legendary singer/songwriter Willie Nelson will help them secure the signatures needed to get the measure on the ballot this fall.

A legal medical marijuana patient in the state of Oregon, Willie is urging citizens to get behind the OCTA and let police worry about real criminals instead of marijuana users.

Maybe no one is surprised at Willie’s endorsement, but it may serve to prod many of those who agree with Willie into action.
