We recently checked in with our old pal, podcast host Stoner Jesus via Skype from his studio complex in Kentucky. After about 20 minutes of him fumbling with Skype, we were finally talking.

“Can you hear me?,” SJ asked. “Yes,” we replied. Things went on like this for another 5 minutes or so, then we got down to brass tacks.

“Over the past couple months our listenership has more than doubled,” SJ told us. “It’s something I attribute exclusively to my genius and foresight.” At this point SJ’s sidekick St. Peter roused himself from what we believe to be a whiskey-induced coma to laugh abruptly, then fall back asleep.

With a huge glass tube giveaway going on and a recent ratings win on Gashouseradio.com, SJ feels he has the momentum to take his show to the next level, whatever that is.

“We also do political segments, so as we grow as a show, we spread the message of legalization and freedom to a ever-widening audience,” SJ said. “After all, you can’t just do stupid stuff all the time.”
