A new Public Policy Poll out of Washington State shows 47% of likely voters supporting I-502 – a recreational marijuana legalization and regulation bill due on the state ballot this fall – while only 39% say they are against it. 15% say they are undecided.

It’s good to see that marijuana law reform efforts in Washington are starting off with a lead in the polls; as we saw with Prop 19 in California in 2010, that polling lead can quickly be erased under constant attacks from wealthy detractors funded by Big Pharma.

A long political battle is shaping up in Washington and several other states this fall on the issue of recreational marijuana law reform. You can be sure we will keep you up-to-date on all the legalization developments coast-to-coast here at The 420 Times.
