The manager of a Domino’s Pizza in North Carolina is being accused of selling marijuana out of his store, hiding it in pizza boxes.

According to a police search warrant, Benjamin Crook sold some of the boxed marijuana to an informant from the restaurant he managed, as well as from a private home. The manager also allegedly had almost 22 grams of marijuana in a locker at the Domino’s store and 18 grams in the restaurant’s safe.

As long as marijuana is prohibited – which inflates the price considerably – people will come up with ways to sell it, no matter what it costs them in the end. Even people you would think make “good” money will risk their jobs for the profits that come from marijuana.

The prohibition of cannabis doesn’t decrease use, as intended, but only serves to increase people getting into the business.
