Here is a press release from MPP with the details: January 6, 2012, Santa Fe, NM –Former New Mexico Governor and presidential candidate Gary Johnson will be joined by Rob Kampia, Executive Director of the Marijuana Policy Project, Monday evening, January 9, for a live national on-line Town Hall to discuss U.S. marijuana policy. The Town Hall will allow anyone who wishes to participate to ask questions and share viewpoints with Governor Johnson and Mr. Kampia. The Town Hall will be conducted via Yowie.com from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. EST. It will be an interactive live video chat, and anyone who wishes to participate can do so by going to www.Yowie.com or www.GaryJohnson2012.com. If Ron Paul does not secure the Republican nomination and does not run as an independent, Governor Johnson will be the most visible Presidential candidate to advocate for marijuana law reform. That means the only hope of having drug policy reform even in the discussion is for Gary Johnson to be able to debate the issues with the two big-party candidates. And that means he has to be getting good enough poll numbers to qualify for the debates. But that is up to you. Only your activism will bring his message to the masses. Even if Ron Paul if the nominee for the GOP, can you imagine having two of the three Presidential candidates on stage favoring marijuana legalization? – Joe Klare And be sure to check out our Open Letter on Behalf of 30 Million Cannabis Users and join us in our fight!
