PBS Documentary Explores Benefits Of Medical Marijuana

A new 10-minute video report from PBS Newshour brings together an epilepsy patient, scientists from places like UCSD Medical Center in San Diego, and even a “drug warrior” who seems to believe in the FDA as an infallible deity of some sort. “Clearing The Smoke: The Benefits and Limits of Medical Marijuana” is a great, non-biased overview of the research into medical marijuana and the kinds of things it can do to help people.

    This is actually only a portion of the video as stated at the end of this 10 or so minute clip. The entire video is just under 1 hour and is I.M.H.O. a must see. I am attempting to purchase (the easy part) this video and then air it on my local community t.v. channel. Did you know that as long as it isn’t copywrited, or if you have permission from the owner that you can bring videos to your local community t.v. (not PBS, mine’s at Greenfield Community Colege) that they are obliged to air it a few times for you? That’s a great way to expose the masses to this kind of info.
