Man Killed In Attempted Medical Marijuana Delivery Robbery

On Wednesday night, 20-year-old Minh Kinh Dang of Santa Ana, CA was shot and killed by a security guard when he and his friends attempted to rob a medical marijuana delivery driver.
It seems Dang and his buddies approached the driver as he tried to make a delivery at a Brea apartment complex, and a struggle ensued. Dang was armed with a handgun, and when he went up to the armed security guard that the MMJ driver had with him, the guard shot him three times. Dang was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s good to see that MMJ delivery services are taking the security of their employees seriously – at least this delivery service is. While cannabis prohibition remains in place, marijuana is a valuable product because of the inflated profits it gets on the black market. So a medical marijuana delivery guy is going to be a prime target for little punks like Dang and his buddies, who see a quick score of some weed and some cash.
Instead, Dang got killed and his buddies are in jail, as it should be. Hopefully all medical marijuana delivery services will have these kinds of precautions in place, for the safety of their employees and the safety of the patients they serve.

“As it should be.”? That’s a really f**ked up thing to say.
this story sounds a bit fishy…most delivery services/cannabis dispensaries are extremely discreet….how did Dang know the driver was delivering cannabis to the apartment? its not like they wear weed uniforms or drive a company dispensary vehicle advertising their services….did Dang know the driver or the receiving patient personally? and another thing…did this “security guard” have a weapons permit to carry/use a concealed weapon in public like that? why didnt the guard get arrested for murder? whatever the case may be…i agree….pot thieves deserve to be shot!
I’m sorry the young man was so stupid as to put his life in danger, but many more have innocently been killed due to Marijuana Prohibition. The innocent plant put here by God to compliment our Endocannabinoid System to heal and protect our bodies in a way impossible with FDA Approved drugs, ever. But I am with the group here medical marijuana thieves are endangering the lives of sick people and providers. They should be shot, but perhaps not fatally wounded. I see both sides, if they were stealing mine I would want to shoot them, but I don’t have a gun, nor want one.
The author has it right on one hand. The only reason that this would or could happen is prohibition. Cannabis is greatly over valued because of it. The true reason that this person lost his life though is because he threatened someone’s life with a gun. The reason for the threat? He was an idiot.
Again;
The way it should be.
Charge his parents for the bullet.
