Ron Paul Launches 2012 Presidential Exploratory Committee

Texas Congressman and anti-drug war crusader Ron Paul has announced the formation of his exploratory committee for the 2012 Presidential election, and has launched his campaign website. In this climate of extreme federal hostility to cannabis law reform and medical marijuana, it’s refreshing to have men like Gary Johnson and Ron Paul running for president. They guarantee that a dialog about cannabis prohibition will take place during the Republican primaries at least.
To the mainstream media, these men are considered “fringe” candidates, but in this age of the Internet with its instant and mass communication, it is the mainstream media that is becoming fringe. We are the new media, and we say a dialogue will take place on marijuana law reform in the 2012 election. We now have two anti-prohibition candidates officially running for President of The United States.
One of the keys to activism is creating noise. It’s time for us to make some noise and make our voices heard.
