I am a 57 year old Florida resident. I was a jeweler & business owner for 32 years, but now I’m on SSDI disability, disabled now for 9 years. I can no longer work due to chronic pain, numbness and headaches that I suffer from the time I wake up, till the time I go to sleep. My debilitating pain is caused by degenerative disc disease (MRI verified). As a pain patient, I take large amounts of doctor prescribed pain pills (percocet). I would rather take a natural product that may give me relief. Currently, I don’t consume marijuana but if I had the legal choice, I would certainly give it a try to see if it would help me. No, I’m not a bum or a stoner, but I am for the legalization of Medical Marijuana. I pray that America stops criminalizing it’s citizens over this prohibition. I urge everyone to study the science, not the Reefer Madness propaganda that the US government is telling us. Marijuana is amazingly beneficial as medicine, food, fuel, clothes and much more. Let’s make the law work for us, not against us. It’s time to legalize, tax and regulate it. Come on Florida voters… advocate and vote to legalize Florida Medical Marijuana.
