Cannabis Advocates And Others Unite Against Steve Cooley As CA Attorney General

The Attorney General of California is charged with enforcing the laws of the state. Sadly, one of the people running for that post today is Steve Cooley – someone more hostile to medical marijuana patients and their rights would be hard to come by.
If you are voting in CA today, make sure you vote against Steve Cooley.
Cooley already has the motivation, but we must not give him the means to broaden his attack on medical marijuana patients. Cooley has long fought patient advocates on the issue of medical marijuana and as Los Angeles District Attorney, he condoned dozens of SWAT-style raids on local dispensaries, aggressively prosecuted patients and their providers, and tried to criminalize the “sale” of medical marijuana. Cooley must not be allowed to expand his agenda to the entire state, and must be prevented from dismantling many of the gains made by patients over the past 14 years.
Politicians like Steve Cooley need to be forced from power if the gains we have made are ever going to mean anything. If you vote for Prop 19 you have to vote against Steve Cooley, who will not recognize the will of the voters in his capacity as AG if Prop 19 passes.
