Reader Poll: Is Mary Louise Parker A Help To The Marijuana Community?

An interesting list is making its rounds on the internet, the “100 Women of Weed.” It’s a list full of activists, as it should be. But it also includes actresses and singers, including “Weeds” star Mary Louise Parker. This brought up an interesting question in my mind.
Should Mary Louise Parker be on this list, especially given her recent admission that she has never even smoke cannabis? Does she deserve a spot among these great women who have done so much for the marijuana law reform movement? Before weighing in on this issue myself, I wanted to see what our readers think. “Weeds” is a popular show, especially among the cannabis culture, so I’m sure many of you have an opinion. Is Mary Louise Parker an asset to the marijuana movement, or a detriment?

She’s just a hot actress that’s good at acting. She’s only in it for the money, though I appreciate it when people that don’t smoke (like her) publicly say that there’s no reason to bother stoners (she said something to that effect).
