Man Dies Following Marijuana Raids In Michigan

The owner of one of the homes recently raided in Michigan has died. Sal Agro – a 67-year old man who, along with his sons, ran the Clinical Relief facility in Ferndale, MI – died of a suspected heart attack.
According to a video made by Agro before he died, police used SWAT-like tactics.
…the masked officers destroyed portions of his home, pointed a shotgun at his daughter-in-law, and confiscated 20 marijuana plants (he and his wife are each registered patients; under Michigan law, registered patients may possess up to 12 plants each for medical use). Despite all this, Agro claims he was never placed under arrest and was denied any opportunity to view the search warrant until after the raid.
Sal Agro will not be the last person pushed to the brink by law-enforcement tactics. SWAT teams go after medical cannabis caregivers like they are hiding Osama Bin Laden in their tool shed. This is yet another tragic effect of The War on Drugs; a man’s obviously weak heart, shocked into submission by the fear of a lifetime. Tragic and truly a shame.

Fukin PIGS!!!! this aint right!
Its amazing how an elite force has such little respect for something they dont understand. They do not understand why they are even in the war against drugs.
There is another name for a ‘war’ in which one side is the aggressor and the other side is slaughtered; it’s called a MASSACRE. It’s time to end this stupid bullshit immediately and live in PEACE for a change.
Yes, reefer madness is alive and well here in Michigan…not so Mr. Agro, I am sorry to say. If God Himself appeared and blessed this herb for all to use, I am afraid the cops here in Michigan would still be busting your doors in. Our police, regardless of the law, know what is good for us. Here in Michigan we are safer because our boys in blue protect us against any reefer abuse. They know the inherent danger of what would happen if someone were to grow even one more plant than they are authorized to grow. So grampa was just collateral damage but Michigan is a safer place now. Right?
well thats all you hear is police murdering innocents that espouse cannabis. just recently they killed a young black guy when they raided his house when his wife and baby were present. cops are murdering nazi thugs. that all the drug war has done is take our freedom away.
There is more to this story. According to Agro in that same interview, his wife was told by a deputy this raid was ‘to get the [state] legislature off their butts and make some rules’ or words to that effect. Agro died of a heart attack one week after the raid. Someone (or their dog)may have died in the course of the SWAT style raid. On a sixty+ year old medical patient who was within his plant limit.
Apparently the police in Lk. Orion think it’s O.K. to make the point that they would like some clarity in the law by killing someone. I’m EQUALLY sure that Sol Agro would’ve liked some clarity in the law as well…he thought he was within the law, and free from the risk and a military invasion of his home. If there had been a clear pronouncement from Attourney General Holder and the Obama administration on MMJ, instead of meaningless argle-bargle, Sol Agro would probably be at home with his family today.
P.S. Thanks for posting this, Joseph.
it is amazing the people vote it in we get lies straight from the prsident’s mouth that we will be left alone. then these states step in and do what thehell they whant to the voters. all i can say is bullshyt i guess we can use the constatuion to wipe our asses with it dont seem to be good for much more then shyt paper
