Aide To Senator Barbara Boxer Charged With Marijuana Possession

An aide to California Senator Barbara Boxer was stopped at a security checkpoint at the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington D.C. and was found to be in possession of a “green leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana.”
Sometimes I’m still amazed at what some people do. Taking cannabis into the Hart Senate Office Building; for what purpose? To sell? To blaze up with a few senators in a maintenance closet?
“Marcus Stanley is no longer with this office,” Boxer’s communication director Zachary Coile said in a statement. “He submitted his resignation and Sen. Boxer accepted it because his actions yesterday were wrong and unacceptable.”
Wow, I hope this guy didn’t need his job or anything. I wonder if he thinks it was worth it. Seeing as Senator Boxer is against CA Prop 19, his firing was a foregone conclusion.
As I’ve said before, it is imperative that one keep their illegal cannabis use away from the prying eyes of law enforcement. Leave your stash at home. And at all costs, avoid taking your marijuana through security checkpoints. These are people whose job it is to make sure you don’t get past them with anything illegal. Don’t tempt fate, or the criminal justice system. Leave your stash at home.

Barbara Boxer’s advisor has been using marijuana but she couldn’t tell and yet she believes it’s so horrible that we must put people in jail for possession. It’s ridiculous. I do have to agree with the article though, don’t take your weed through security.
