The Govt. came up with crazy reasons, the public became more aware of those that have smoked, and became less fearful of weed.
The public knows the crimes commited by alcohol use is very high, and the weed abuse is low.
Yes, kids will get alcohol, and yes, kids will get weed, but what’s working now, is not working at all.
So FREE THE WEED and see, the hype will die down, and possible jobs can open in manufacturing farmers of Hemp, to those working the fields, to turning hemp into large amounts of natural products.
It’s high times, no pun intended, that we come together and see all the great benefits from hemp farming, hemp progucts, creative way to creat better strains of weed for the smokers, but both need to be free and legal and we can have a green earth. A safer one, because anyone 21 over, can grow, buy, smoke, make, sell hemp products.
The only crime I see is the kid next door, age 13, trying to steal the neighbors weed growing in the backyard. Slap the kids hand and send home. In my day, they would slap my hand and send me home stoned if I said no I don’t want any….lol

“People think it’s legalization, it’s being sold as legalization—even though it’s the opposite of legalization.” – Dennis Peron, author of Prop. 215 that legalized medical marijuana in California

Read the actual proposition!!! The wording is VERY UNCLEAR, and doesn’t protect prop 215 patients. It reduces your grow area down to a 5′x 5′ space, and also look up this person:Richard Lee and why HE wants it so called:”legalized” He is creating a monopoly in Oakland, and they are letting it happen! He will make billions off of this, by tricking the voters with this old, out-dated proposition from the 1970s! There have been other propositions and initiatives written for the decriminalizing of marijuana and they actually make sense!

unfortunately prop19againstpatientrights is right. i thought it was a dream come true when i heard about this but when you research the law (which has many facets to it)..it gives richard lee more business (who is already a multi-millionaire) by taking a lot of small time players out of the market. It also does not free anyone from prison and actually creates a new law where it is illegal to smoke or give to anyone under 21. A very harsh law like it is illegal to give alcohol to anyone under 21. there are blots out there that have the truth. research it. see for yourself. and then lets work together and pass the RIGHT law to legalize weed in 2012. (the next large election where we will have a larger turnout of younger voters not just baby-boomers which will happen in this mid-term election – which is why this law is doomed to fail anyway)

  6. Robert says:

    19 will pass easily

  7. Robert says:

Doesn’t matter because people could care less about backwoods draconian drug laws anymore. I say it will pass easily

  8. eric williams says:

if they do legalize herb and the feds say no than that means america is not free it means the feds can do what ever they want and we are just cattle .
