Men Try To Hide Marijuana Stash While On Phone With 911

The title really says it all. Two men were driving in a car in Georgia when they were hit from behind. Something that happens everyday, a minor fender-bender. What makes the story special is that while on the phone with a 911 operator to report the accident, the men are also discussing where to hide their wide so the cops don’t find it.
“Gotta find the weed bro,” the second person in the car is heard saying on the 911 call.
“DeKalb Emergency 911,” the dispatcher responded. “What is the address of your emergency?”
“Call the police, call the police,” the second person in the car said.
“I just got into a wreck, sir,” the caller said to the dispatcher. “They just hit us from the back, ma’am, very hard and they are still here.”
Besides calling 911 and yelling the word “weed,” another clue that these guys are stoned it that the caller addresses the dispatcher as “sir” and “ma’am,” within seconds of each other.
Later they are heard discussing getting “the stuff out.” When the police arrived, they found the men standing in front of some bushes; bushes where bags of marijuana and some scales were found. All in all, probably one of the worst episodes in cannabis history. One thing is for sure though: it will make a great scene in a movie.

You gotta love it – another police expediency/career enhancement move where quick-thinking police arrest the victims because they were associated with marijuana, and police realize pot busts make better career stats than working some ol’ fender bender. Same goes for muggings and especially robberies. If the victim is a pot smoker – and there is evidence – that’s a career jackpot for “law” enforcement! Forget the original crime with a real victim: since the victim is a “drug user” he probably deserved what he got – plus deserved much more punishment from “society” for the status-crime of being a drug user! (Besides, might be able to seize his car/home for the department’s annual professional conference/bash in Florida. And bonuses. And overtime.) Nice little package for the police state, don’t you think?
