Many years ago, Peter Jennings had a marijuana special on TV. I believe the special was called “Fields of Gold” but I’m not sure. Anyway, I’ve never been able to find it on the web. However, one thing I still remember (What! A major pot head with a good memory! No Way! lol) is that one of the people interviewed was a pot farmer in Georgia who could grow in his fields because the sheriff told the DEA they couldn’t come in the county. Did the sheriffs across the country lose their authority since then? If not, then how can the DEA come into a county if a sheriff is really opposed to their tactics? By the way, if anybody knows where I can find this documentary, that would be awesome if you could post me a link for it. Thanks.
