Marijuana Air

According to the U.S. Attorneys Office, last month a man loaded up a Cessna with 75 pounds of cannabis in Los Angeles and flew it to Georgia.
Igor Goldenshtein, 42, of Los Angeles, was arrested soon after landing on July 19, authorities say. He is accused of piloting a drug-laden Cessna 400 from Hawthorne Municipal Airport near Los Angeles. He and an alleged accomplice, also from California, were charged with conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
This is a pretty gutsy endeavor. But because of marijuana prohibition, it’s one worth taking on. So now the feds will spend a ton of money prosecuting a case that their own laws makes enticing in the first place. All to keep the machine greased with money.
Your tax dollars at work.
