iStock 000004768669XSmall 300x279 Manhattan Madam Running For Governor Of New YorkA lot of people will look down their noses at Kristin Davis. A former madam who supplied hookers to former NY Governor Eliot Spitzer, now wants the Governor’s Mansion for herself. She has submitted over 22,000 voter signatures to get on the November ballot in the Empire State.

Oh, the immorality of it all. A madam running for Governor? Yes she is, and let me give you a few reasons why this is a good thing:

1) Running on a platform that includes marijuana legalization, Kristin Davis gets a lot of media attention for obvious reasons, and she shines that spotlight on the issue of cannabis prohibition.

2) Our political system is on the verge of collapse; Madam Davis is the epitome of “outside-the-box” thinking (certainly no pun intended). We need people who will shake up the system, and nothing gets the attention of the voting public like the words “former call girl running for governor.” She is a much needed shot in the arm to a withered electorate.

3) The fact that she supplied a former Governor with hookers shows – ironically – that she is qualified to hold the post. The days when we put our politicians in neat little rows are over. A woman who supplies hookers is just as qualified and deserving of a shot at running New York as a man who bought hookers. People from one walk of life can do just as well, if not better, than those from the supposed “right side of the tracks.”

“The two major parties have driven our state economy into a ditch,” said Davis. “I think New Yorkers are ready for new ideas, new faces and new solutions,” said Davis, 35, a former Hedge Fund Vice President. “Let the debate begin”.

Hear, hear. But this raises a question. Would the fact that she was also a Hedge Fund V.P. make you more likely to vote for her? Is it better that her business experience isn’t totally “illicit?” I mean, don’t the laws of economics apply just as much to brothels as to Hedge Funds?

Like the Madam said, “let the debate begin.” It should be an interesting couple of months in New York.

  1. Andrew Miller says:

Only one problem—there is no evidence that Kristin Davis was ever a hooker herself. She has a BA in business adminstration and is finishing a Masters degree in psychology.

This a woman who built a $5M a year business from scratch–which makes her more qualified to run the state than the pathetic hacks we have now.

And she is a non-user who supports the legalization of marijuana for both the economic reasons and because she supports personal freedom

  2. awesome! fully support the idea. only in America are morals part of politics. though people are brainwashed to believe there’s a separation of church & state
