istockhandcuffs weed small1 THC Ministry Founder Deemed Too Dangerous For BailEarlier this month we told you about the raids on The THC Ministry in Hawaii, and the subsequent arrests of 14 people – including the Ministry’s founder Roger Christie. Mr. Christie remains in jail, as he is considered a danger to his community.

A federal pre-trial services report also recommended that Christie be freed on bail. But prosecutors fought back with a 46-page memorandum in opposition. Because Christie allegedly recommenced marijuana distribution after the March raids, that made him “a danger to the community and… no conditions/combination of conditions could assure the safety of the community,” they wrote.

The whole gist of the case against Roger Christie is the prosecutor’s attempts to paint his as a major “drug dealer.” As I’ve said before, these arrests were politically motivated by the feds, who want to silence those who preach the truth of cannabis.

As we continue to spread the message of marijuana, it tends to make authorities look stupid. For years they have been telling us how dangerous cannabis is and that’s why they have to bust pot dealers and smokers. As it turns out, marijuana is not dangerous, and people are beginning to realize that the authorities have other motives when it comes to the war on marijuana.

To the feds, Roger Christie is a dope dealer who needs to be punished for daring to question the DEA’s whole existence. In reality he is just a man who has learned the truth, and is attempting to share his knowledge with others. He is not a danger to his community; he is a danger to authorities who make their money on marijuana prohibition.
