Michigan Police Chief Worried About Cannabis Convention

The first annual “International Cannabis Convention” is set to be held in the Silverdome in Pontiac, MI this October and that has Pontiac’s police chief worried.
“My concerns are the law has to be followed,” Police Chief Val Gross said this morning.
What the chief is really worried about is people blazing up in the Silverdome. Pontiac doesn’t abide by Michigan’s medical marijuana law, so marijuana possession is a crime for everyone, as is possession of paraphernalia. The chief is basically saying “no bongs and no weed.” That sounds like an exciting cannabis convention.
I wonder how many crimes will occur while the chief has his officers searching for bongs at a cannabis convention?
I would also like to point out how good it is that they are attempting this in Michigan. Cannabis information must be spread everywhere, not just Colorado, the west coast, and Canada. The cops have the ability to make the convention really suck, but kudos to the promoters for trying.
