Hashing It Out With Richard Lee

Richard Lee is a cannabis activist who founded Oaksterdam University in Oakland and is the driving force behind the ballot measure to legalize marijuana for recreational use in California, Proposition 19. We’ve done a few stories about him here on The 420 Times, and he recently talked to a podcaster in San Francisco about Oaksterdam, Prop 19, and much more.
The short interview can be heard here, and is worth a listen. Cannabis is safer than alcohol, and it’s time law enforcement got out of the private lives of citizens. Hopefully the road to the complete end of marijuana prohibition starts this November in CA.
